Welcome to Planet Nourish!

Here, we will share the highs and lows of our journey to become the first ethnically tailored healthcare platform for diet-related illnesses.

WHAT WE DO

Planet Nourish is an AI-powered digital platform on a mission to reduce diet-related conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes and obesity in people of colour. Linking for the first time heritage and health, we provide ethnically tailored food, lifestyle & behaviour change solutions.

  • We offer full-service telehealth programmes consisting of our core AI component of the PN Smart Nourished Plate®, complimented by our digital coaching and technology platform. We are building a predictive technology that analyses user photos and biodata to give macronutrient breakdown, recognise different cultural foods and make personalised suggestions.
  • With our technology and human-centric approach, we bring the lifestyle changes needed for a person to eat better, feel better, and have long-lasting results.

How Can You Help?

  • We are looking for partner companies who have South Asian employees and are keen to help their long term health and wellbeing. We would like to partner with them to co-create solutions for their people. South Asians over-index in professional services, retail, transport and health industries. So an airline or airline caterer, supermarket or a local authority would be brilliant. We have a deck here which you can share.

    How Are We Doing?

    We’ve Launched Our Platform

We finally have a home for our nourishers! Our community is full of culturally tailored content for our south Asian community with the objective to not just help manage type 2 diabetes but to ultimately prevent it altogether – hence the term PaaS (prevention as a service).

We were selected for the DLA Piper Bespoke Accelerator Programme.

We’ve been chosen to participate in an innovative new accelerator programme with DLA Piper. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global professional services organisation at Planet Nourish. We have lots planned, including working with their global D&I and Wellbeing teams and rolling out a pilot diabetes management programme for employees of colour on our platform.

The Great News

In our first week of launching our community platform, we managed to gain a whopping 150 users. They are already active and making full use of our expert-led ethnically tailored content.

You, too, can join our community; it’s free and aimed to bridge the gap in healthcare for ethnic minorities that currently does not exist. Just visit planetnourish.com and create your profile today!

Learnings

It was worth researching low-cost, low code solutions a little deeper. When we did, we managed to find a solution that was more than half the price of our original idea with a lot more flexibility to experiment.
